In this financial literacy project, students will explore budgeting, comparing prices, basic operations with whole numbers and decimals and creating financial goals all while planning out their own field trip! But here's the catch... The budget is $25 per student! Students will also write persuasive paragraphs and present their field trip idea to their teacher and peers!
 
These budgeting worksheets and slides will help students apply their knowledge of money and financial literacy in a real world context! Students will research and compare pricing in order to determine location, transportation, food and additional costs included with planning a field trip, while staying within the $25/student budget.
